Tuition will be raising at all colleges!

According to Yahoo News the cost of college will be rising for students the cost will raise by 5 percent annually. For student graduating this year well the average student will graduate spring 2011 with 22,900 dollars in debt but some students will be even worse. With this rise the cost of college will be 8 percent higher than last year. The normal Fafsa that you are use to getting the Pell grants will be much less than what you received the last two semesters. Since 2006 Americans with a college degree the unemployment rate for them is 4.5 percent and Americans without the unemployment rate is 9.7 percent.

It is proven that people that took student loans are in Debt over their heads. Debt leads to stress and unhappiness during and after their school years.  There are many people out there that pay on their student loans until they are in their late 40’s and 50’s. there is a case of a lady that went to school for one thing got a job in her major couldn’t pay her Debt because it didn’t pay more than her education cost then she went to become a lawyer which she is now and is 250,000 dollars in Debt and in unemployed  with no job.

This is just crazy makes me think twice before taking more student loans. I was reading and some people believe that student loans are all a scam for banks to make money and they are not looking out for students to get a quality education.  Obama said that he is making school cheaper to attend so that more Americans will attend college which to me is now what he is doing almost every school is raising the cost of the tuition and at the same time he lowered the amount of Fafsa that we will be getting in the future semesters making it harder for kids to go to college so is he really helping kids go to college or what?

I really hope that something changes soon so that kids can afford to go to school either lower the tuition or higher the amount of Fafsa we get. The main thing is that this scares me for the future between the gas prices rising and everything else getting more expensive I don’t know if anybody will be able to afford to go to school we will all have to work as hard as we can and barely be able to get by in life.

There is a 17 year old out there that got a 750,000 dollar offer!

According to Yahoo News there are still short people out there in the world that are considered basketball prodigies. In Patterson Maryland there is a boy by the name of Aquille Carr that is quick as lightning, high scoring and a show stopping point guard who is only 17 years old and 5’6 inches tall. When Aquille went to play in Milan Italy for a tournament for the USA junior team a team in Italy by the name of Lottomatica Virtus Roma offered Aquille a 750,000 dollar contract to come play in the professional European league in Italy. Aquille average 40 points a game when he played in the tournament they were at, in high school he average 33 points a game against top schools.

Is this crazy or what? I think that Aquille Carr should at least graduate from high school first because education is key. I’m not saying if I was in his position I wouldn’t take it I would actually consider it like he is there are several thing he would have to look at thou. One thing for him to look at is that he is only 5’6 so it would be really hard to make it to the NBA but if he was to go to Italy and prove his self there he could eventually go to the NBA from there.

I don’t take anything from Aquille because he is short I’m sure he could hang with the best of them. I watched him play on video this kid is fast as lightning and can spread the ball around the court and can score with it just as fast as he can pass the ball. This kid is good there isn’t any way anybody could take anything from him what he has accomplished and has got on video nobody can take that from him because what done is done and when you’re good your good nobody can say any different.

I really hope that this kid takes his time to make his decision if he decides to go to Italy or he decides to stay in school and try to go to college I would support both of them.  I could see where the money looks good but he also has to think about it the other way to basketball won’t always be there so he may want to have something to fall back on if all else fails.

CIA celibrates Osama Bin Ladens Death!

According to Yahoo News Sunday night the CIA gets a rare victory the CIA has been watching these two brothers since 2005 but never knew who they were but in 2009 they got information from some captured fugitives after they tortured them they started telling them what their names were of the two closest couriers of Osama bin laden.  But in August 2010 the CIA found where the brothers lived and found all information on the compound that they were living in and knew that besides the two brothers families there was another family living there that matched the size of bin laden’s family so the CIA kept investigating and found out the brothers have no source of income but they were living in a million dollar compound that was built to hide somebody with all the security features it had so finally that was enough to make the Obama order a strike to go into the compound were they found Bin Laden and his family and now the U.S. has custody of his body after a search that has been going on for more than 10 years now.

Osama Bin Laden was buried at sea because the U.S. tried to comply with his religious beliefs that the body should be buried within 24 hours but the U.S. could not get any other country to except his remains so they had no other chance but the Muslims are saying that this may cause a rally because they disrespected their religion. One Muslim representative said that this could count as an exception because they didn’t have a country to take him within 24 hours. Others are saying that this could lead to a conspiracy theory that Bin Laden was never really killed because the government will not release and pictures of him dead. That is because they need to keep it for future operations.

I really don’t personally think that Osama Bin Laden has any say or his people have any say of what we do to him or what we do with him because when he killed the 2,000 people in New York he didn’t give them any say if they want to live or where they want to be buried he just had them and the pilots killed he didn’t give them any say at all so I think that he should have been buried the same way how we want to do this.

I am happy as well as many Americans that Osama is finally dead now. This is a lot of relief to some people to know the man that ordered their family members to be killed is finally dead now that is a big relief for some people. It is good to know that the leader is dead now I just hope that nobody takes over and they try to retaliate against us for it.

Dallas Takes DeMarco Murray!

According to the DFW the Dallas Cowboys selected DeMarco Murray in the third round of the NFL draft. DeMarco said that it was a surprise to him and his agent when he did not go in the second round of the draft but once the third round came around his agent told him that there is a very good chance Dallas will be the team to grab you. The agent told DeMarco that a team wouldn’t bring you down to their camp if they were not interested in you. The cowboys reported that they picked DeMarco because he is a Elusive back and can catch the ball really well and can block well too he can run inside or outside he can get the tough yards needed and he has the speed to get to the out or around the corner.

I think that this was a good pick for Dallas DeMarco is one of the best backs in the draft if not the best there was. DeMarco will fit in just fine in Dallas with the Offensive system they run he is the kind of back that they need he fits the system just right he can get the job done when he is called on and he can also get the job done on special teams if they decide to use him on special teams.

I think that there is not a better pick than DeMarco I like the way they he works and you couldn’t ask for a better personality he is a good guy that has a good attitude and I feel like all of that with how hard he works will bring him a long ways in the pro’s. If you watched the way that he talked about all of his teammates and stuff he gave them a lot of credit I guess all in all you could just describe Demarco Murray as a very humble person or athlete.

I have been watching DeMarco Murray ever since he started at Oklahoma when he was second string under Adrian Peterson and every chance that DeMarco got to get in the game he took full advantage of the opportunity and got big gains and shined. That why I knew that he was going to go to the NFL one day because of the way that he works and the attitude that he has. I feel that he will do really well in Dallas as long as he keep the attitude that he does.

Tornados Rip Thru The South!

According to Yahoo News One of the worst Tornados ever tore thru the south where at least 281 people have been reported dead. The Tornado destroyed towns from Tuscaloosa Alabama all the way to Bristol Tennessee where it killed 195 people in Alabama, 33 in Mississippi, 33 in Tennessee, 14 in Georgia, 5 in Virginia and 1 in Kentucky. This is as of now others are still missing and over 600 people have been reported seriously injured. Two students were killed on campus at the university of Alabama campus and some parts of the school were destroyed and their finals were postponed to a later date.

Alabama has taken the damage the worst. The tornado was reported to be an EF5 and at the storms weakest an EF4. These are really strong tornados and they destroyed thousands of homes and Business places. This April has set a record for the most tornados ever reported in April a record of 800 the previous record was in 2003 with a record of 543 twisters. This is by far the worst April in many years that people can remember it has been storm after storm after storm. Many residents reported that this is the worst tragedy that they have ever seen or been in, in actual real life.

This is a warning to people to show us just how easily things can be taken from us at any moment in time and it can happen to anyone even the ones who think that nothing bad will ever hit them it might actually hit them one day. These tornados are not anything to play with when I lived in Oklahoma we had several tornados go right by our house and thru our town.

My prayers go out to all of the people and the families that have been bothered by these horrible destructions.  You never know when it is your time to go so you should always be prepared for anything that might come your way. Hopefully assistance will make its way to all the people that may need the help that they need and give these people that homes are gone a place to stay and sleep.

Another Athlete Saves Another Life!

According to Yahoo News the Tampa Bay Buccaneers rookie offensive lineman is still doing his job protecting somebody not who he normally does but still protecting somebody and becoming a hero. Ted Larsen was out fishing with his girlfriend when he heard a distress from the United States coast guard and he responded to the call right outside of Honeymoon Island of the west coast of Florida. Ted said that he pulled up to two people overturned with their kayaks holding on for dear life. Ted pulled up grabbed the two teens and the Kayaks and shuttled the two to safety. Ted said that he is no hero he was just helping out like he would somebody would for his and that he hopes that the two learned their lesson and to be aware of the weather because the ocean can turn on you at anytime.

Is this a surprise to you? I don’t see this as a big deal yea he did good and rescued these people. Like Ted said he was just doing what he hopes somebody would do for him if he was in a situation similar to this one. This is the kind of people that we need more of in the world people that are out to help people and think of others rather than just themselves.

Well this goes to show people that there are still good people out there and good athletes out there that will help. Ted didn’t have to stop fishing and go help the two teens he could have just stayed there and finished fishing with his girlfriend but instead he went and saved these two teens life I am sure they really appreciate it more than they could tell him.

This is just like anything else if you were in this situation you would hope that a random person or at least somebody would come to rescue you. I am one of the good people out there that would stop what I am doing to save somebody’s life or at least try to save somebody’s life if all if possible all because I would want somebody to do the same for me if ever needed.

The Three Georgia Locker Room Thieves are Busted!

According to Yahoo News University of Georgia has finally caught the locker room thieves that stole $1,970 dollars worth of goods out of soon to be future teammate’s lockers. Deion Bonner, marquise Hawkins and the third one was unidentified because he is a juvenile. The three recruits were caught stealing IPods and Iphones out of 7 player’s lockers that were not secured. Deion Bonner is one of the best players in the country and has offers from several schools and all three kids have several offers from several schools in this area. All three players are in jail and the Bail is 1,500 dollars on each count that they are charged on.

University of Georgia police Chief Jimmy Williamson said they caught the three with a good investigation and FaceBook had a lot to do with it. Williamson was able to get warrants for the three and took them in on charges last Friday. Bonner is a 5’11 185 pound defensive back from Carver Columbus High school in Columbus Georgia. The Carver Coach Dell McGee is a very respected coach and a lot of coaches recruit from his school he has sent at least 3 players to a Division 1 schools on scholarship every year since 2009.

All I got to say is these kids are stupid do they know how many kids out there that would do anything to have the chance to do what they are doing kids like this take things for granted not knowing how fast they can mess up what they have already. This really makes me mad because I know a lot of kids that would love to be in there spot and are probably just as good just don’t get the exposure that they need to get recruited from the big schools.

I was one of the kids that dint get exposed playing in Hawaii it cost too much for coaches to fly there to recruit so it makes it hard to get recruited from big schools. But I know if I was given the opportunity like they were I wouldn’t mess it up for anything. Well I am the type of person that believes in second chances and believes that everybody makes stupid mistakes in their lives and I am one of them so I hope that these kids learn from their mistakes and are given a second chance from a school but I do know they just lost a lot of trust from a lot of coaches out there.
