Tornados Rip Thru The South!

According to Yahoo News One of the worst Tornados ever tore thru the south where at least 281 people have been reported dead. The Tornado destroyed towns from Tuscaloosa Alabama all the way to Bristol Tennessee where it killed 195 people in Alabama, 33 in Mississippi, 33 in Tennessee, 14 in Georgia, 5 in Virginia and 1 in Kentucky. This is as of now others are still missing and over 600 people have been reported seriously injured. Two students were killed on campus at the university of Alabama campus and some parts of the school were destroyed and their finals were postponed to a later date.

Alabama has taken the damage the worst. The tornado was reported to be an EF5 and at the storms weakest an EF4. These are really strong tornados and they destroyed thousands of homes and Business places. This April has set a record for the most tornados ever reported in April a record of 800 the previous record was in 2003 with a record of 543 twisters. This is by far the worst April in many years that people can remember it has been storm after storm after storm. Many residents reported that this is the worst tragedy that they have ever seen or been in, in actual real life.

This is a warning to people to show us just how easily things can be taken from us at any moment in time and it can happen to anyone even the ones who think that nothing bad will ever hit them it might actually hit them one day. These tornados are not anything to play with when I lived in Oklahoma we had several tornados go right by our house and thru our town.

My prayers go out to all of the people and the families that have been bothered by these horrible destructions.  You never know when it is your time to go so you should always be prepared for anything that might come your way. Hopefully assistance will make its way to all the people that may need the help that they need and give these people that homes are gone a place to stay and sleep.

Another Athlete Saves Another Life!

According to Yahoo News the Tampa Bay Buccaneers rookie offensive lineman is still doing his job protecting somebody not who he normally does but still protecting somebody and becoming a hero. Ted Larsen was out fishing with his girlfriend when he heard a distress from the United States coast guard and he responded to the call right outside of Honeymoon Island of the west coast of Florida. Ted said that he pulled up to two people overturned with their kayaks holding on for dear life. Ted pulled up grabbed the two teens and the Kayaks and shuttled the two to safety. Ted said that he is no hero he was just helping out like he would somebody would for his and that he hopes that the two learned their lesson and to be aware of the weather because the ocean can turn on you at anytime.

Is this a surprise to you? I don’t see this as a big deal yea he did good and rescued these people. Like Ted said he was just doing what he hopes somebody would do for him if he was in a situation similar to this one. This is the kind of people that we need more of in the world people that are out to help people and think of others rather than just themselves.

Well this goes to show people that there are still good people out there and good athletes out there that will help. Ted didn’t have to stop fishing and go help the two teens he could have just stayed there and finished fishing with his girlfriend but instead he went and saved these two teens life I am sure they really appreciate it more than they could tell him.

This is just like anything else if you were in this situation you would hope that a random person or at least somebody would come to rescue you. I am one of the good people out there that would stop what I am doing to save somebody’s life or at least try to save somebody’s life if all if possible all because I would want somebody to do the same for me if ever needed.

The Three Georgia Locker Room Thieves are Busted!

According to Yahoo News University of Georgia has finally caught the locker room thieves that stole $1,970 dollars worth of goods out of soon to be future teammate’s lockers. Deion Bonner, marquise Hawkins and the third one was unidentified because he is a juvenile. The three recruits were caught stealing IPods and Iphones out of 7 player’s lockers that were not secured. Deion Bonner is one of the best players in the country and has offers from several schools and all three kids have several offers from several schools in this area. All three players are in jail and the Bail is 1,500 dollars on each count that they are charged on.

University of Georgia police Chief Jimmy Williamson said they caught the three with a good investigation and FaceBook had a lot to do with it. Williamson was able to get warrants for the three and took them in on charges last Friday. Bonner is a 5’11 185 pound defensive back from Carver Columbus High school in Columbus Georgia. The Carver Coach Dell McGee is a very respected coach and a lot of coaches recruit from his school he has sent at least 3 players to a Division 1 schools on scholarship every year since 2009.

All I got to say is these kids are stupid do they know how many kids out there that would do anything to have the chance to do what they are doing kids like this take things for granted not knowing how fast they can mess up what they have already. This really makes me mad because I know a lot of kids that would love to be in there spot and are probably just as good just don’t get the exposure that they need to get recruited from the big schools.

I was one of the kids that dint get exposed playing in Hawaii it cost too much for coaches to fly there to recruit so it makes it hard to get recruited from big schools. But I know if I was given the opportunity like they were I wouldn’t mess it up for anything. Well I am the type of person that believes in second chances and believes that everybody makes stupid mistakes in their lives and I am one of them so I hope that these kids learn from their mistakes and are given a second chance from a school but I do know they just lost a lot of trust from a lot of coaches out there.

Cincinnati Reds pitcher busted stealing!

According to Yahoo News Mike Leake of the Cincinnati Reds has been booked and busted for stealing from Macy’s department store in the mall. When Mike was drafted out of Arizona State he got a sign on bonus for 2.3 million dollars and makes around 425,000 a year.  On April 16 2011 Mike Leake was arrested for stealing 5 T-Shirts that only cost $9.99 a peace and a total of $59.88! When he is charged he could end up doing 180 days in jail. When Mike was being arrested he reported that he worked at Reds stadium and not American Ball Park they said they didn’t know if it was the real him or the look alike because it was so strange he didn’t know these things.

What is wrong with people these days and more like what is wrong with the famous people in America these days. If you have a million or more dollars in the bank why in the world would you go steal some cheap shirts 5 of them and they would only come out to $58.88 to me that is just stupid I guess he just somehow got the urge to go out to Macys and steal some shirts I mean come on now who does that.

It seems like all the famous people these days are just getting out of hand. You have stars sleeping with underage girls sleeping with hookers come on now don’t you know your famous you can get almost any girl you want also stars doing drugs why would you risk it all just to get high come on now.

Sometimes I think the wrong people get too much money and the one that do need it most of the time will never get a chance to have that much money. But in the end you never know what would happen the ones that need the money might do the same as the stars are doing because like they say money does change people and they will act different than they use to.

The Radiation Level has Risin to 7!

According to Yahoo News Japans emperor makes his first appearance to the Location of the crisis where thousands of people were found dead from the earthquake and tsunami that happen last month is March. The emperor made speeches to the survivors and actually broke down into tears when seeing all of this and then trying to tell the survivors that it will all be ok. The emperor said that the radiation is still bad police are still dressed up in suites and gloves and still searching for people.

People are still scared there because the radiation is so bad that they raised it to the highest level people are afraid to eat the fresh produce that the farmers are selling but one farmer said things are starting to pick up since April 1st has passed. There are soldiers and police still searching for the missing people a total of 15,000 people and yet it has been more than over a month later. People don’t even come to that side of Japan because the radiation is so bad Japan reported that this is their worst crisis ever to happen since the U.S bombing them.

I really feel bad for these people that have lost all of their homes but yet that isn’t even the bad part they can’t even go back yet because the radiation is so bad they have to stay in shelters. I’m glad that the U.S doesn’t get hit bad like this I mean we have like hurricane Katrina but I’m not sure if can match up to this what makes it so bad is the radiation in the air.

I am praying for these people that everything will recover and go back to normal for them and find their missing family members. I know that I wouldn’t want something like this to happen to me or anybody else and I hope that I’m never in a crisis like this. I really don’t think the U.S could handle a crisis like this right now anyway we would just go more into debt more than we are now.

26 year old Danny Watkins will enter the 2011 draft!

According to Yahoo News 26 year old Danny Watkins from Canada will be entering the Draft coming up here soon for the NFL. But that is not the end of it he came along way to get where he is at. Danny was a volunteer fire fighter when he was 16 and in high school upon graduation at the age of 18 he became full time on the payroll but at 22 his fight chief told him he should go to California to a community college to take a course called fire science it was hard for Danny to stay away from the football coaches where they finally got him on the football field where he went on to play at Baylor and is now entering the 2011 draft.

This is just crazy just shows how good of a kid he is not too many kids are volunteer firefighters at the age of 16 I give him credit for just that alone. I know when the coaches at the junior college saw him they probably went crazy a 6’4 290 pound kid that looks solid enough to be a D1 player them coaches were most likely in heaven.

It’s amazing how he never even played football until he went to junior college he was a hockey player and his dream was to be a fire fighter  that he already achieved football wasn’t nowhere on his mind. This is the dream of many kids when growing up play in the NFL of become a fire fighter or be a police officer and he has already lived thru two of them.
Is this a dream come true or what? I know many people would love to do what he has accomplished already. I think that he should really give thanks to his fire chief for talking him into going to college to take that course because if it wasn’t for him he would have never went he would have still been with them fighting fires as his profession.  This is a story of a lifetime

Record Levels of Ozone Depletion!

According to Yahoo News in the Arctic the Ozone layer is depleting being caused from human behavior and chemical pollution. The Ozone layer protects the earth from harmful ultraviolet rays that could damage earth and the people. The ozone layer has suffered a loss of 40 percent in the arctic region this year alone last year suffering a loss of 30 percent as you can see every year we are losing the Ozone until eventually we burn thru it.

This has gotten so bad that it is a world warning according to the UN weather agency the Nordic countries will experience higher than normal ultraviolet radiation in the coming weeks. The Ozone layer has reached record levels of depletion. This is all being caused by pollution in the atmosphere and a very cold winter in the stratosphere eventually this can end the life on earth if we do not act now by changing things to not fix the Ozone layer but stop it from depletion because we cannot fix what humans have already destroyed.
I feel in my eyes that this is nobody’s fault but our own the animals on earth didn’t put pollution in the air from driving vehicles around and having factories everywhere or neither did the aliens in space if there is such a thing. But if we do not change thing than eventually life on earth will be gone and everything will be burnt up.
This is pretty scary to me but I know that I have contributed to the pollution that is depleting the Ozone layer and I am trying to go green to help save it from burning up the rest of the way. I just really hope that this will all stop eventually and life on earth can continue without it burning up that would be a bad day don’t you think.

And the College womens basketball Chapions are the Texas A&M Aggies!

According to Yahoo News  on Tuesday April 5, 2011 in Houston Texas the Texas A&M Aggies have one there first national championship in women’s college basketball 76-70. The Aggies took an early lead by 13 in the first part of the game but in the second half they got down the Irish took a 7 point lead but that didn’t stop the Aggies from pounding past the Irish. Danielle Adams scored a total of 30 points 8 in the first half and 22 in the second half she just man handled the Irish down low the Aggies couldn’t have done it just with Adams she had help from a supporting cast of teammates specially from Tyra white who had 18 points in the game.

This was no surprise to me I took the Aggies to win the whole thing when they man handled the Baylor Bears the way that they did. But I knew that it would not come easy because obviously the fighting Irish had to be good by knocking off the UCONN girls who have been the powerhouse In women’s college Basketball for the past 10 years or more losing only a total of probably 10 games over the 10 year stretch. So once this all happen I knew that there couldn’t of been a better match up than these two teams.
Many people said they the Aggies didn’t belong in the championship game but they clearly proved themselves by winning it. This was the Aggies first National Championship in college women’s basketball that must feel amazing for these women there is no better feeling then knowing that you won a national championship.
Did the Aggies belong in the championship or not I believe that they did.  I feel that they have proven there selves and I hope that one day I will see what it feels like to play in a college Championship or better yet win the championship I could only imagine the feeling.
